FIFA President Gianni Infantino has praised the achievements of Kosovar football, emphasizing that Kosovo’s position in the Top 100 of FIFA’s rankings is the result of tireless work and the extraordinary progress the sport has made in the country.
During a video conference at the year-end gathering organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo, Infantino expressed his support for the development of Kosovar football.
“Since joining FIFA in May 2016, Kosovo has made significant strides in football. This has been a fantastic year for both the men’s and women’s teams, which are currently in the Top 100 of the rankings, achieving their highest positions ever. This certainly has not happened by chance, but is the result of the fantastic work of President Agim Ademi and all of you,” he said.
