International Monetary Fund Launches Annual Consultations on Kosovo’s Economy

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has launched its annual consultations on Kosovo’s economy. The IMF’s Resident Regional Representative for the Western Balkans, Sebastian Sosa, announced that an IMF delegation will visit Kosovo from today until February 13 to conduct the annual Article IV consultations with the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the announcement, the mission will be led by David Amaglobeli and aims to analyze recent macroeconomic developments in the country, assess the economic outlook and potential risks, and discuss economic policies and reform priorities with local authorities and key stakeholders.

The IMF also stated that upon completion of the visit, the mission will issue a press release and hold a press conference to present the main findings and assessments from the consultations.
