The Judicial Council of Kosovo (KGJK) has launched the interview process for 15 vacant judge positions in the Basic Courts.
A total of 36 candidates, who successfully passed the written test in criminal and civil law, are expected to undergo interviews.
The Recruitment Commission is composed of:
- Albert Zogaj – Chair of KGJK
- Arjeta Sadiku – Deputy Chair
- Besnik Bislimaj – Judge at the Court of Appeals and KGJK member
- Mustafë Tahiri – Chair of the Basic Court in Ferizaj
- Ivanka Millenoviq – Vice Chair and Judge at the Court of Appeals
Reserve members include Teuta Ibrahimi (KGJK member) and Bekim Veliqi (Acting Chair of the Basic Court in Mitrovica).
According to Regulation 03/2021 on judicial recruitment, candidates can earn a maximum of 20 points during the interview process. Additionally, candidates must submit an essay, worth up to 4 points, on the day of the interview.
After completion of the interview stage, final results will be published, including points from the qualifying test, written exams in criminal and civil law, essay, and oral interview.
The competition was announced for 15 judge positions across Kosovo’s Basic Courts. The Kosovo Institute for Justice monitored the written test process.
