Laura Pula, the national elections coordinator from the State Prosecutor’s Office, stated that all prosecutor offices in Kosovo have now issued authorizations to collect information regarding individuals suspected of manipulating or falsifying the vote counting process.
Pula explained that each prosecutor is waiting for the final results before proceeding with further investigations.
She emphasized that, for the criminal offense of falsification, the penalty can be up to five years since the individuals involved are appointed officials.
“The investigations will show how these results were falsified. No one will be granted amnesty, and anyone who has violated the free will of voters will face the full force of the law,” Pula said.
