Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates faced new drone and missile attacks on Saturday, despite the president of Iran issuing an apology to neighboring countries in what appeared to be a pre-recorded address.

Iran launched missiles and drones targeting U.S. military facilities in Bahrain and Qatar.

United Arab Emirates: The airport in Dubai—normally one of the busiest in the world—was struck several times by drones. Passengers reported at least one explosion and multiple interceptions. Departures were suspended for several hours but were expected to resume later on Saturday.

Qatar: The Ministry of Defence (Qatar) said a ballistic missile attack had been intercepted.

Bahrain: Sirens were heard across Bahrain, though no impacts were reported. The Bahraini military said that since the start of the Iranian attacks on the kingdom, 86 missiles and 148 drones had been intercepted and destroyed.

Saudi Arabia: The Ministry of Defense (Saudi Arabia) posted on X that 16 drones heading toward one of the Middle East’s largest oil fields, Shaybah Oil Field, were intercepted in the early hours of Saturday.
