Iran has officially submitted a complaint to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) following Israeli airstrikes carried out overnight targeting its nuclear facilities, including the heavy water reactor in Arak and the uranium enrichment plant in Natanz, RKS News reports.

According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, Tehran condemned the strikes as a “continuation of Israeli aggression” and a “flagrant violation of international laws that prohibit attacks on civilian nuclear infrastructure,” BBC reports.

IRNA also confirmed that no casualties were reported from the strike on the Arak nuclear facility, while authorities are currently assessing the extent of material damage.
