Iranian authorities have announced the arrest of 18 individuals in the city of Mashhad, suspected of operating a secret workshop producing surveillance and suicide drones in service of the Israeli regime, Rks News reports.
According to an official statement by Iranian police, the operation is part of a broader crackdown aimed at dismantling alleged Mossad-linked networks within Iranian territory, at a time of significantly heightened tensions with Israel.
In a similar operation days earlier, security forces in Isfahan province arrested four individuals and discovered another drone-manufacturing facility, seizing numerous devices and electronic components.
Additionally, five more people were arrested in the city of Qazvin, accused of inciting unrest and supporting Israeli aggression.
Citing Al Mayadeen, reports also indicate that in Iran’s western Lorestan province, authorities uncovered another suspected cell believed to be aiding Israeli operations inside Iran.
Iranian officials emphasized that actions against Israeli intelligence activity will continue relentlessly and without compromise.
