Iranian state television reported that an oil refinery on Lavan Island was attacked on Wednesday, just hours after a ceasefire was announced in the region.

According to the report, the attack occurred around 10:00 a.m. The perpetrators have not yet been identified, but authorities confirmed that there were no casualties.

The incident comes shortly after the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, aimed at halting military actions and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s key oil supply routes.

Iranian authorities are continuing investigations to determine the cause and those responsible for the attack.
