If the U.S. carries out its threat to attack civil infrastructure in Iran, it will “undoubtedly be met with a decisive and comprehensive response from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said the Iranian Foreign Minister in a conversation with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot, according to BBC.
Abbas Araghchi stated that the U.S. threat “constitutes the normalization of war crimes and genocide.”
A report from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Barrot described the threats of an attack on infrastructure as a cause for increased regional tensions and emphasized the need for a diplomatic solution.
