Following last night’s U.S. airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strong condemnation, calling the actions reckless and a betrayal of diplomacy.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, speaking to CNN, stated:
“The actions of the United States were extremely dangerous and a betrayal of diplomacy.”
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the strikes would carry “everlasting consequences.”
The statements come amid rising global alarm, as tensions between Washington and Tehran escalate after the most significant direct military confrontation to date over Iran’s nuclear program.
