An Iranian missile fired this morning struck near the office of Benjamin Netanyahu, according to the Iranian state news agency Tasnim.
The missiles hit positions “just a few meters” from the building in central Jerusalem, reports Telegrafi.
Last week, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated it would target Netanyahu, following circulating online rumors about his death, which he countered by posting a video of himself buying coffee.
Meanwhile, after the election of Iran’s new supreme leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, rumors began circulating that he might have been killed during Israeli-American airstrikes.
This follows over a week of conflicting reports: some said he appeared in public, others claimed he was seriously injured, and some suggested he might have been killed.
