A missile launched by Iran was destroyed by NATO assets, according to the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
“A ballistic munition launched from Iran that entered Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense assets deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean,” the ministry said in a statement published on X.
The ministry added that “all necessary measures are being firmly taken” against threats to the country and its airspace.
Earlier, missiles launched by Iran into Turkish airspace were also intercepted and neutralized by NATO forces.
