Iran’s state media has reported that Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has issued a direct warning to the United States, cautioning against any military involvement in support of Israel amid escalating regional tensions.

Speaking on the possibility of American intervention, Gharibabadi emphasized Iran’s readiness to defend itself and respond forcefully to any aggression:

“If the United States wants to step in militarily on behalf of the Zionist regime, Iran will be forced to use its means to teach the aggressors a lesson and protect our national security and interests,” he stated.

He also made it clear that Iran’s military options are prepared:

“Naturally, our military decision-makers have all necessary options on the table.”

However, Gharibabadi reiterated that Iran does not seek war:

“Iran has never welcomed any war and has never sought to expand any conflict,” he concluded.

This stern warning comes as tensions between Iran, Israel, and their international backers continue to escalate.
