Iranian officials have declared they are prepared to continue attacks for as long as necessary, emphasizing that negotiations with the United States are no longer on the agenda.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to earlier remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who had suggested that “the war will end soon.” Araghchi stressed that Tehran is not considering talks with Washington.
“Negotiations with Washington are no longer on the agenda. We are ready to continue our missile attacks against them for as long as necessary,” he told PBS in an interview.
Meanwhile, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi claimed that Iran holds the upper hand in the current confrontation.
“Their plans have failed, and they have not achieved their objectives. Iran has inflicted serious damage on Israel and the U.S. Look at the state of global energy and the global economy. We have the advantage and will decide ourselves when this war ends,” he stated, according to Al Jazeera.
These statements underscore Iran’s determination to continue military operations and signal that any immediate diplomatic resolution with Washington is unlikely.
