The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate for mayor of Prishtina, Uran Ismaili, has presented his views on the current state of the capital, emphasizing the need for new and effective governance.

In an interview on the program Pressing, Ismaili said that his goal is to “energize” Pristina, stressing that the city needs hope, not demoralization.

“We need to get out of this chaos,” he declared, referring to the numerous issues in the current administration. “It is necessary to provide citizens with the governance they truly deserve,” he added.

Asked about his continuous visits to Pristina’s neighborhoods and streets, Ismaili highlighted that unlike the previous campaign, he now no longer feels the need to stay overnight.

“This time I don’t need to do that. Last time, I wanted to immerse myself more deeply in the city’s problems. Now, after four years, I’ve had more time to prepare with more realistic solutions,” he explained.

He underlined that commitment to Pristina requires strong dedication: “For Pristina, one must work hard.”
