Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon continued overnight, according to local media, causing casualties and material damage in several areas.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, fighter jets struck multiple towns in the south of the country, while another area was shelled with artillery. In one of the attacks in the town of Maaroub, a family was reportedly targeted, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces stated that it destroyed a “loaded and ready-to-launch rocket launcher” in southern Lebanon, emphasizing that the strike prevented a direct threat.
