Israeli police have reported that one of the residential areas in the city of Haifa has been hit. As reported by the BBC, there is no information yet on casualties, although material damage has been recorded.
Footage and images from Haifa show a massive fire.
“We urge citizens to stay away from the affected areas and follow the instructions of authorities on the ground,” Israeli police said.
Ambulance services have also been activated, as it was confirmed that injured individuals have been transported to the hospital.
