The Israeli government has strongly reacted to the announcement of the composition of the Gaza Executive Board, emphasizing that the decision was made without any coordination with Israel and contradicts its official policy.
In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office said the matter is considered highly serious, and the Prime Minister has instructed the Foreign Minister to contact the U.S. Secretary of State for clarifications.
“The announcement regarding the composition of the Gaza Executive Board, which falls under the Peace Board, was not coordinated with Israel and contradicts its policy.
The Prime Minister has instructed the Foreign Minister to contact the U.S. Secretary of State on this matter,” the statement said.
