The Israeli military announced the opening of a new temporary evacuation route for residents of Gaza City, following the launch of a major ground offensive.
According to a military spokesperson, traffic will be allowed along Salah al-Din Street, continuing south of Wadi Gaza.
The spokesperson added that the route will be open for only 48 hours, from 12:00 on September 17 to 12:00 on September 19.
