At least six Iranian nuclear scientists were killed on Friday during Israeli airstrikes targeting strategic sites in Iran, local media report, writes Rks News.
According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, the victims have been identified as: Abdolhamid Minouchehr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Amirhossein Feqhi, Motalleblizadeh, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi — the latter a prominent figure and former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization.
The scientists were caught in the Israeli attack on a research center and laboratories linked to Iran’s nuclear program.
