An Israeli airstrike killed four Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to local health authorities, in the latest violence overshadowing a fragile ceasefire amid renewed mediation efforts.
Medics said the strike targeted a group of people on Jaffa Street, near the Darraj neighborhood in Gaza City, killing four individuals and injuring several others, as reported by Reuters.
The Palestinian militant group Hamas and Israel have exchanged accusations over violations of the ceasefire reached last October, which had brought an end to two years of full-scale war.
