Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong statement from Jerusalem, responding to remarks made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the status of the holy city.
During a speech on Thursday, Netanyahu reaffirmed Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, calling it “our eternal city.”
“We are here. This is our city. Mr. Erdogan, it is not your city. It is our city. It will always be our city. It will never be divided again,” Netanyahu declared.
