Israeli authorities have approved the establishment of 19 new Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
This brings the total number of settlements approved over the past three years to 69.
“The proposal by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Defense Minister Israel Katz to announce and officially establish 19 new settlements in Judea and Samaria was approved by the government’s security council,” officials announced.
They emphasized that the move aims to prevent the creation of a Palestinian terrorist state.
