ABC News has learned that Anuela Ristani has been delegated the task of heading the Municipality of Tirana.
Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the Municipality of Tirana twice today, and now Anuela Ristani will exercise the duties of the mayor and the associated powers.
Meanwhile, Erion Veliaj was arrested on Monday by order of SPAK, and he is accused of crimes related to corruption and money laundering, charges that Veliaj has referred to as “fabrications by the prosecutor of the case.”
