Italian soldiers from the Regional Command West of the NATO-led KFOR mission have conducted patrols in the municipality of Klina.

Patrolling is a key activity that strengthens KFOR’s presence, contributing to security and stability with impartiality and respect.
In line with this mission, peacekeepers maintain a high level of vigilance and efficiency, ensuring that they are always prepared and effective in all conditions.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 – to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and the freedom of movement, at all times. KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective security roles.
