The Embassy of Italy in Kosovo has expressed concern over the latest political developments in Kosovo, particularly the failure to elect a new president.
In a statement, the embassy said it is closely monitoring the political situation and hopes that a swift and constructive solution will be found to overcome the current institutional deadlock.
“We are following the current political developments in Kosovo with great attention and some concern, especially the failure to elect the President of the Republic,” the embassy stated.
The Italian diplomatic mission also emphasized the importance of resolving the crisis quickly, allowing the country to move beyond the political stalemate and refocus on advancing necessary reforms and shared priorities.
The statement comes amid the ongoing institutional situation in Kosovo, where the process to elect a new president has stalled, contributing to broader political tensions.
Observers note that international partners are encouraging political actors to find a compromise to ensure stability and maintain progress on reforms and governance.
