NISMA MP Xhevahire Izmaku has stated that her party believes the Kosovo Assembly currently needs someone like Fatmir Limaj at its helm a figure who, according to her, can bring consensus and unity.
“I can’t confirm there’s been a new meeting. There’s no new stance. NISMA believes that at this moment, the Assembly needs Mr. Limaj, someone who would bring consensus. That remains our position. There are talks, but no new decisions. I don’t think there was a meeting last night either. We stand by our current position,” said Izmaku.
She noted that there is constructiveness on both sides, but no significant change in positions.
Regarding the timeline, Izmaku said there is no set deadline for their proposal:
“I can’t say there’s a deadline. There is a willingness to overcome this deadlock,” she emphasized.
