In an article for “The Geopost,” Bugajski stated that Serbia does not have a realistic prospect of joining the European Union.
Bugajski also explained why he holds this view. According to him, the main reasons are Serbia’s denial of Kosovo’s independence and its positive stance towards Putin’s regime.
“Serbia itself does not have a realistic prospect for EU membership, particularly due to its denial of Kosovo’s independence and its positive stance towards Putin’s regime. In fact, Belgrade continues to disqualify itself by cultivating closer security and economic ties with Moscow.”
