The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted a meeting today with Sergeant Major of the Iowa National Guard Command, Matthew Strasser, and his delegation.

According to the announcement from the KSF, the meeting focused on the ongoing support of the Iowa National Guard (ING) regarding the development of the non-commissioned officer (NCO) corps, which remains one of the primary objectives of the KSF Command.

Jashari thanked Strasser for the key role that the Iowa National Guard’s NCOs have played in the education, training, and development of the KSF’s NCO corps.

“Sergeant Major Strasser thanked Lieutenant General Jashari for his continued support and for his vision in developing the supportive channel for KSF NCOs. The meeting with the NCO delegation from the Iowa National Guard is a testament to the excellent cooperation that the KSF has with the ING as part of the State Partnership Program with Iowa,” the announcement states.
