After three days, the testimony of Jock Covey, former deputy to Bernard Kouchner, has concluded at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
Shortly before the end of his session, Covey reflected on his meetings with KLA leaders, noting that he could not recall whether Hashim Thaçi had been present.
“These were meetings convened by Mike Jackson, and they had a very specific purpose – to reach a binding agreement. I cannot remember if Mr. Thaçi took part in them, except for one final meeting which I have explained in detail,” Covey stated.
At the conclusion of his testimony, the American witness expressed his gratitude:
“I thank everyone for the opportunity given.”
