Four individuals have been arrested in a coordinated operation conducted by the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina and the Kosovo Police, authorities confirmed.
The action, which began at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has concluded at that location, while additional operations continue at other sites.
According to Kaltrina Shala, spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution, two of the suspects were arrested for abuse of official position, while the other two face charges of accepting bribes in the private sector.
“The joint operation is ongoing. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available,” Shala added.
This operation highlights the continued efforts of Kosovo’s law enforcement and judicial authorities to combat corruption and uphold accountability in both public and private sectors.
