A protest march titled “March for Justice” has been announced for Saturday, February 21, with legal professionals calling for a stronger commitment to the rule of law and an independent judiciary.

Organizers said the gathering will begin at 14:00 near the General Staff Building, after which participants will march toward the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime.

The event is being organized by several legal and professional groups, including Odbrana struke, the Sindikata sudske vlasti, the Udruženje tužilaca Srbije, and CEPRIS, with support from the Advokatska komora Srbije and the Advokatska komora Beograda.

During the protest, several representatives from the judiciary and legal community are expected to address participants, including Radovan Lazić from the Appellate Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad, Aleksandar Jovanović from the Basic Court in Novi Pazar, Vladimir Prijović, president of the Belgrade Bar Association, and Milomir Lukić from the Appellate Court in Belgrade.

Organizers say the march aims to highlight concerns about the state of the judiciary and advocate reforms that strengthen legal institutions and judicial independence in Serbia.
