Juventus coach Igor Tudor has confirmed that Kosovan forward Edon Zhegrova will be unavailable for both the derby against Inter Milan and the upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund.

Zhegrova joined the Italian club in the final days of the summer transfer window from Lille for a reported fee of €15–20 million.

Although there were hopes that he could make his debut in the Inter derby, Tudor ruled out this possibility, emphasizing that the player is still recovering after a long period without playing.

“He (Edon Zhegrova) is returning from a long time without playing. He still needs time to fully regain fitness, strengthen, and improve,” Tudor stated.

According to the coach, Zhegrova will miss the next two matches but is expected to begin a gradual integration into the squad.

“Edon will not be ready for the next two matches (against Inter and Dortmund), but we will start integrating him gradually from the Verona match,” Tudor added.

The high-profile Juventus vs. Inter derby is scheduled for Saturday at 18:00.
