President Vjosa Osmani’s advisor, Donika Kadaj-Bujupi, responded to former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti’s accusations that Osmani acts as an “extension” of Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Kadaj-Bujupi emphasized that Kosovo’s foreign policy should be judged by tangible achievements, not political rhetoric.

She highlighted that President Osmani has demonstrated exceptional institutional activism and civic commitment, visiting all municipalities across Kosovo regardless of political affiliation, thereby practicing the constitutional principle of inclusive representation.

Key achievements of President Osmani’s mandate, according to Kadaj-Bujupi, include:

  • New international recognitions and diplomatic relations, strengthening Kosovo’s international subjectivity.
  • Reconfirmation of recognition by 12 countries, despite external pressures.
  • Strategic coordination with the Trump Administration, resulting in the approval of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), reaffirming support for Kosovo’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and NATO membership, as well as strategic U.S. investments.
  • Removal of unjust EU measures against Kosovo, achieved through consistent foreign policy engagement and trust-building with European partners.
  • Participation in international audiences and summits, including a private audience with Pope Leo XIV, alongside numerous international honors recognizing moral leadership, peace efforts, interfaith dialogue, and women empowerment.

Kadaj-Bujupi stressed that despite political accusations, President Osmani’s legitimacy is confirmed by over 300,000 citizen votes, and she continues to fulfill her constitutional duties with dignity and strategic vision. The results achieved speak for themselves, proving that true leadership in foreign policy is measured by concrete accomplishments, not polemics.
