Kosovo’s outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, welcomed the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, at the “Adem Jashari” International Airport in Pristina during her official visit to the Republic of Kosovo.

“Welcome to the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Kaja Kallas. It was an honor to receive Ms. Kallas at the Adem Jashari International Airport,” Gërvalla wrote.

In her statement, Gërvalla highlighted the importance of the visit at a time when Kosovo is more committed than ever to building democratic institutions and advancing toward Euro-Atlantic integration.

“Kaja Kallas’ visit comes at a moment when the Republic of Kosovo is deeply engaged in strengthening democratic institutions, ensuring the rule of law, and steadily advancing its Euro-Atlantic agenda.”

“The Republic of Kosovo is a responsible international actor, a reliable partner, and a genuine contributor to peace, security, and stability across our continent. With unwavering political will and broad public support, our path toward full integration into the European Union and NATO is clear, irreversible, and fully aligned with the values we share with our allies. Today’s Kosovo is Europe — in its actions, its commitment, and its steadfast orientation toward a shared Euro-Atlantic future,” Gërvalla concluded.
