EU High Representative, Kaja Kallas, stated that “the Western Balkans is part of the European family.”
This comment was made by Kallas on social media platform “X,” where she highlighted her hope for EU enlargement over the next five years during her stay in Rome.
“The Western Balkans are part of the European family. Our security is inseparable. Our cooperation is essential. Today in Rome, I emphasized this common security perspective and our hope for real progress in the EU enlargement over the next five years, based on progress with reforms,” Kallas wrote.
