The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has reacted to the recent US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities by emphasizing that Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, as this poses a significant threat to international security.

“Iran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, as this would pose a threat to international security,” she wrote in a post on X.

Kallas urged all parties to step back, return to the negotiating table, and prevent a further escalation of tensions. “I call on all parties to pull back, return to the negotiating table, and prevent further escalation.”

She also announced that EU Foreign Ministers will discuss the situation tomorrow, aiming for a diplomatic approach to stabilize the region.
