President Vjosa Osmani met with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas during the European Political Community Summit held in Tirana, where leaders from across the continent gathered for high-level discussions.
Osmani confirmed that Kallas will visit Kosovo next week, though she herself will be abroad at the time—hence their meeting was held in advance in the Albanian capital.
Highlighting Kosovo’s commitment to European integration, President Osmani stated that the country is ready for the next step on its path toward EU membership.
“It is time for the EU to respond to this moment with courage, clarity, and determination—qualities that define the leadership of High Representative Kallas,” Osmani wrote, reinforcing Kosovo’s call for decisive European support.
Kallas’s upcoming visit is expected to focus on advancing dialogue, supporting reforms, and reaffirming Kosovo’s European perspective at a time of renewed regional engagement.
