The only Albanian MP in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, spoke on the morning program “Për ditë të mbarë” on RTV21 regarding the ban on the use of the Albanian national flag in the Presheva Valley.
Kamberi stated that Serbia legally prohibits the use of the Albanian flag, emphasizing that Albanians celebrate under strict conditions and in anticipation of possible interventions or punishments.
“Serbia remains a country that, by law, bans [the use of the national flag. All these years, we mark this day under restricted circumstances, waiting for potential interventions or penalties,” he said.
