The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KCC) announced that a second local court ruling in two days has annulled the Energy Regulatory Office’s (ERO) decision to transition to a free electricity market.

In its reaction, the KCC stated that this decision confirms the concerns raised by businesses regarding the process, emphasizing: “This development clearly shows that businesses were right when they raised their voices against the injustices of ERO.”

The KCC is urging all affected enterprises to legally pursue their rights. It also announced the establishment of a special legal team to assist businesses: “The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce encourages all businesses that feel harmed by this decision to follow the legal path to protect their interests. Anyone needing assistance will find a team of lawyers established within the Chamber who will help in drafting legal acts against ERO’s notice.”
