Alicia Kearns, a Member of the UK Parliament, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Ibër Lepenc canal in Zubin Potok on November 29, labeling it a clear attempt to harm civilians by targeting critical infrastructure.
Kearns emphasized that Serbia’s failure to arrest Milan Radoičić and others responsible for the attack in Banjska sends a dangerous message, encouraging others to believe they will find safe haven after such acts of terrorism.
In her statement, the British lawmaker urged the UK to stand resolutely with Kosovo in the fight against terrorism.
“The terrorist attack on the Ibër Lepenc waterway in Kosovo was a clear attempt to inflict harm on civilians through the destruction of critical infrastructure. The failure of Serbia to arrest and deport Milan Radoičić and others responsible for the Banjska attack encourages others to follow their example, believing they will find safe haven after such acts. The UK must stand reslutely with Kosovo against terrorism,” Kearns said.
