The Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company (KEDS) has announced that today it will carry out essential works to ensure the safety of the energy system in certain regions.
As a result, there will be power outages in some localities.

Essential works for system safety
From TS 110/35/10 kV Prizreni 1, the following will be interrupted:
- 10 kV Feeder J15 Rahovec (code: 30000015) from 10:00 to 15:00
Affected areas:
Euro Graniti, Atmaxha I, Atmaxha II, Tupeci I, Tupeci II, Tupeci III, Landovicë, Tulltorja I and Tulltorja II.
Reason: Safety-related outage – replacement of damaged poles on the main line segment.
Mitrovica
Works on investment projects
From NS 110/10 kV Mitrovica 2, the following will be interrupted:
- TS 10/04 kV Vinarc Kullë – 1 Lahovit (code: 70000005002) from 09:00–11:00 and 13:00–15:00
Affected areas:
Vinarc, Lahovit.
Reason: Works related to an investment project.
Gjakova
Essential works for system safety
From NS 35/10 kV Malisheva, the following will be interrupted:
- 10 kV Feeder J02 Kijeva (code: 82082007) from 13:00 to 15:30
Affected villages:
Balincë, Bubavec, Drenoc, Gollubovc, Kijevë, Llazicë, Lubizhdë, Mleqan, Plloçicë, Polluzhë and Stapanicë.
Reason: Safety-related outage – testing of the SCADA system at the Kijeva substation.
Works by third parties
From NS 35/10 kV Gjakova I, the following will be interrupted:
- 10 kV Feeder Beci (code: 80080010) from 10:00 to 15:00
Affected areas:
Villages of Bec, Janosh, Lugbunar, Novosellë e Epërme, Novosellë e Poshtme, Osek Pashë, Palabardhë, Qerim, Sopot, Trakaniq, and part of Mark Malota Street.
Reason: Safety-related outage due to works on the 35 kV Radoniqi transmission line.
