The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) and the Transmission, System and Market Operator (KOSTT) signed an important cooperation agreement today for electricity supply, as part of Kosovo’s ongoing energy market liberalization process.
Although KEK signed several other agreements during the day, this particular agreement with KOSTT holds special significance due to its strategic role in the transition toward an open and competitive energy market model. It marks a key milestone in the development of the country’s energy sector, laying the groundwork for a secure, efficient, and transparent electricity supply.
Representatives from both KEK and KOSTT highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership, pledging continued coordination and expansion of cooperation in other mutually beneficial areas, all aimed at improving the sustainability and efficiency of the national energy sector.
