The management of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) held a meeting today with the heads of the corporation’s two unions: the New KEK Union (SR-KEK) and the Independent Union of Kosovo Energy (SPEK), to discuss issues of mutual interest and employee well-being.
During the meeting, KEK’s management informed union representatives of a recent decision by the Board of Directors to distribute coal to all KEK employees as a supportive and easing measure aimed at improving working conditions.
Union representatives welcomed the decision. Both parties agreed to continue their cooperation through regular meetings in order to address other employee-related matters more effectively.
“KEK remains committed to constructive dialogue with the unions and to strengthening its partnership with its employees, who are a key factor in ensuring the corporation’s stability and efficient operation,” the company’s statement read.
