KESCO has announced that domestic electricity production continues to be limited.

According to the company, unit A3 is producing around 110 megawatts today, while the rest of the demand will be covered through electricity imports.

“At the same time, overall consumption has increased in recent days, mainly due to higher use of air conditioners as a result of high temperatures.”

“To ensure a stable and uninterrupted supply, KESCO has secured the necessary imports from international markets and continues to work intensively to meet the growing energy needs.”

KESCO also urges all consumers to help save energy, especially by using cooling devices more efficiently.

“Every kilowatt-hour saved helps ease the load on the system and reduces the overall cost of energy — benefiting everyone,” the company statement said.
