KFOR has announced that U.S. aviation soldiers have been conducting daily maintenance checks and routine servicing on their UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to ensure proper and reliable functioning.
According to KFOR, these actions are part of the mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo.

U.S. aviation soldiers assigned to the Regional Command East of the NATO-led #KFOR mission are conducting daily maintenance checks and routine servicing on their UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to ensure proper and reliable operation.
These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to guarantee a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and the freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
