KFOR Commander Ozkan Ulutash held a meeting on Wednesday with the European Union Special Envoy for the Kosovo–Serbia Dialogue, Peter Sørensen, and EULEX Chief Giovanni Pietro Barbano.

According to KFOR’s Facebook statement, the discussions focused on Kosovo’s security situation, regional stability, and KFOR’s ongoing support for the dialogue process.

Ulutash emphasized KFOR’s commitment to its UN-mandated mission and the importance of continued cooperation with the EU and other partners.

“The visit highlighted NATO’s and the EU’s long-standing and unwavering commitment to work together to consolidate a stable and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo, as well as for regional stability,” Ulutash said.

Peter Sørensen had previously met with former KFOR Commander Enrico Barduani, while the last Kosovo–Serbia dialogue session took place on 11 September in Brussels. Sørensen noted on platform X on 12 September that he had hosted leaders of the teams for bilateral and trilateral meetings to implement the Ohrid Agreement and address the issue of missing persons.
