KFOR Commander Meets Kosovo President, Calls for Quick Resolution of Parliamentary Deadlock

KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, hosted President Vjosa Osmani today at Camp Film City in Pristina.

According to the statement released, the two discussed the security situation, regional stability, and cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions.

Barduani underlined the importance of swiftly resolving the parliamentary deadlock and maintaining regular coordination with Kosovo’s security bodies as a key factor for stability in the country.

“The meeting, part of General Barduani’s regular engagements with institutional counterparts, focused on the security situation, regional stability, and cooperation between KFOR and Kosovo institutions,” the statement read.

“General Barduani expressed his wish for a quick resolution of the parliamentary impasse and reiterated the importance of regular coordination and consistent communication between KFOR and Kosovo’s security organizations as a crucial element for stability.”
