KFOR Commander Meets Representatives of 33 Contributing Nations, Reaffirms Commitment to Kosovo’s Security

KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş has reaffirmed the mission’s strong commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.

He reiterated this commitment during a meeting held on Friday with Ambassadors, Heads of Missions, and Senior National Representatives from 33 troop-contributing countries to NATO’s mission in Kosovo.

“Marking his first collective engagement with representatives of troop-contributing nations since assuming command, General Ulutaş outlined the current security situation in Kosovo, ongoing KFOR activities, and the mission’s key priorities going forward.”

“He reaffirmed KFOR’s commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, underlining the importance of continued coordination and cooperation with international partners, and expressed his sincere appreciation to all troop-contributing countries for their continued support,” the mission said in a statement.
