KFOR Commander Meets UNDP Representative, Security in Kosovo Discussed

The Commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, met today with the UNDP Resident Representative in Kosovo, Nuno Queirós.

The meeting took place at KFOR’s headquarters in Camp Film City, Pristina, where the two discussed sustainable security in Kosovo.

“KFOR remains committed to supporting all international community efforts for sustainable security in Kosovo and regional stability,” said Major General Barduani during the meeting.

The meeting was part of KFOR’s regular exchanges with key partners in Kosovo.

KFOR emphasized that it continues to implement its mandate, based on the UN Security Council Resolution, to contribute to a safe environment for all communities in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement.

“We work in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX in their respective roles as security guarantors,” concluded KFOR.
